Tufoil Gun-Coat

Tufoil Gun-Coat was originally developed for use on firearms at the request of federal law enforcement agencies. Fluoramics worked with the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA to develop the perfect combination of lubrication and rust prevention.

Testing was performed by Hoffman Brothers Gunsmiths and the results clearly showed smoother and faster operation, lower operating temperatures, reduced misfires, and easier cleaning.

Gun-Coat is an excellent CLP-type of product as it cleans, lubricates and protects, all without the nasty solvents many gun products use. In addition, the rust inhibitors found in Gun-Coat make it an excellent candidate for dip coating parts that are already rusted. Steel parts can also be dipped for storage.

In addition to larger packaging sizes, Tufoil Gun-Coat is available in a 12 ml pocket oiler with a needle-like application tip for getting into tight areas with extreme precision.

Use Gun-Coat on:

  • firearms
  • tools
  • nuts and bolts
  • antiques
  • steel parts
  • hinges

The unique protective film formed with regular use of Tufoil Gun-Coat will repel lint and protect against salt water and high humidity. A special patented process is utilized to permanently disperse micro-miniature particles (3 microns in size) of Moly/PTFE in Gun-Coat. These suspended particles impregnate the microscopic voids in metal surfaces. Use Gun-Coat anywhere corrosion and rust are a problem.

Tufoil Gun-Coat is included in Fluoramics’ Gun-Care Kit, which also contains lint-free microfiber swabs for cleaning, Lightning Grease for lubricating slides and moving parts, and HinderRUST S4.0 for corrosion control.
