LOX-8 Full Density PTFE Tape
Fluoramics’ LOX-8 Full Density PTFE Tapes are approved for oxygen service to the following specifications:
- Steady-state oxygen service temperature limit per ASTM G63 equals 372° C or 701° F.
- Steady-state oxygen service pressure limit per ISO 21010 equals ≤ 345 bar (≤ 5004 psig).

Most of the PTFE tape on the market is flimsy, low-density stuff that is difficult to apply and shreds too easily when the joint is torqued. When you need to seal large-diameter fittings or fittings on high-pressure systems, regular tape can’t handle the job. Worse yet, it costs too much. Not so with LOX-8 Full Density PTFE Tapes.
Fluoramics tape is a premium full-density product that requires just two wraps to tightly seal just about any joint. It’s available in ¼”, ½” and ¾” widths, and is approved for use in oxygen service.
